Shipping

We certainly can ship worldwide as long as the address is valid.

At the moment you can place an order through our helpdesk for glass and cake orders: info@dockglass.com

Also feel free to give us a call to place an order: Tel: 441-234-4216

Online orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will not be processed until the Monday following.

We can ship via Fedex, DHL and Air Parcel Post. As well as deliver Locally in Bermuda.

We are able to estimate shipping costs for you at the time of placing your orders on all cake products. This however is still just an estimate; and is subject to change depending on weight and dimensions of each package.

FedEx and DHL usually takes about 2-7 days to be delivered once the order is packaged/processed, and as long as there are no delays with the shipping agent. Please allow a few days for us to process your order as each order is dealt with by hand.

Air Parcel Post takes about 14-16 days to be delivered. Again this is reliant upon the no delays with the shipping agent.

Please allow a few days for us to process the order, as each order is dealt with by hand:

Cake orders require 2-3 days turn around, before shipping. Glass works require 5-7 days turn around, before shipping. This is the same for Local deliveries unless specified otherwise.

Online/emailed/faxed orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will not be processed until the Monday following when our office is open.

We are unable to ship large flame-worked pieces; like our lamp posts, reef sculptures etc. As these items are very fragile. However we can provide excellent packing of items for a customer to take in their personal luggage, but regarding shipping these particular items via FedEx or Air Parcel Post we cannot guarantee they will arrive safely. So we will not ship them.

If you have any questions or concerns about an item you’d like to ship please contact our staff at info@dockglass.com

Rum Cakes

Ingredients are listed on all of our cake products along with expiration dates. Please check the packaging carefully. Our items are not gluten free or dairy free at this time; so be sure to check the ingredients labels for your specific needs.

We can certainly guarantee there will be Gosling’s Black seal rum in your next slice though!

The expiration date is listed on the box of each rum cake, so be sure to check. Cakes can be stored for 3 months outside of a fridge and 6 months in a fridge as long as they are still sealed. You can also store a cake in the freezer for up to a year. It is soaked in rum after all!
As our cake products use neat rum, so we would recommend you not having our cake if you are pregnant, nor serving it to children under 18 years of age.

Glassworks

Between 9:30am to 4:30pm Monday thru to Sunday. The glass blowers do take a lunch and cool down breaks during this time period.

We also have Flameworkers demonstrating during these times as well.

Our furnace is set to 2100 degrees fahrenheit. So it’s very hot!

We use a lehr that cools down the day’s work very slowly over night. Cooling the glass down too fast will cause it to shatter so our production team takes about 18 hours to complete a piece, from creation to cool down.

We use soda glass for our blown items and Moretti cane glass for our flame-worked pieces. And we work with the glass at some pretty hot temperatures too. Such as 2100 degrees fahrenheit in our furnace and 960 degrees fahrenheit on our propane torches.
